Silence in Snow

Marlena was introduced to the power of meditation at a very early age. Influenced by her older brother's interest, she herself began to imitate by sitting very still with her eyes closed. Little did she know how this practice would eventually change her life! In 1995 she met Pujari and Abhilasha Keays, her mentors of insight meditation as well as yoga. Although her teachers have now retired, Marlena still practices daily, and attends retreats regularly, applying the noble silence of the vipassana tradition for days at a time. Marlena also uses historic pilgrimage routes in western Europe as a form of walking meditation. Recently she has enjoyed the teachings of Russell Delman.
